The winner of the “ECPD Prize Award for Outstanding Achievements in Plasma Diagnostics”
is
Professor Marco Borghesi,
from the Queen’s University of Belfast, UK

for his outstanding contributions in the field of plasma diagnostics. 
 
 
 
 
ECPD Prize Award for Outstanding Achievements
in Plasma Diagnostics

 
The International Scientific Committee of the European Conference on Plasma Diagnostics has decided to establish an “ECPD Prize Award for Outstanding Achievements in Plasma Diagnostics”. The prize will be awarded at the ECPD conference, taking place every 2 years. In 2023, ECPD will take place in Rethymno (Crete, Greece) from 24 to 27 April 2023.
 
 

 

The prize will be awarded to a researcher who has provided outstanding contributions to the field of plasma diagnostics.

Nominations by the plasma community should be sent to the email maria@mitos.com.gr and include:
a)        

Nomination letter outlining the impact of the nominee’s research in   plasma diagnostics (1 page maximum).  The nomination letter can have multiple subscribers

b)  Recent CV of the nominated person (2 pages maximum) and a list of main publication

The winner of the award will be decided by the ISC among submitted nominations.
 
The prize includes:

     ·     a certificate,
     ·     the lump sum of 500 Euros,
     ·     free registration and accommodation to the ECPD conference.
 
The winner commits to give a 30min presentation at ECPD.
